Holly spent her formative years devising cunning plans to run away from the circus. She got as far as Australia, believing wholeheartedly that she'd shaken the sawdust out of her shoes, but there will always be those lingering splinters!
Holly has performed, directed, taught and played music for many projects on many different scales, here are a few examples:
- Storytelling and creative participation projects in schools [Elastic Concoctions, Oily Cart, Activate UK, The Egg Theatre]
- Performing a four-person musical clown show [The Honk project] on the rural touring network
- Compering for cabaret in various different characters
- Front woman for a crazy 10 piece street band [Yupknuckle]
- Directing a plethora of street theatre shows [The Cockney Awkestra- mixing music and comedy, Cinecab a go go- mixing dance and character comedy, The Benni the Buzzard show- pure clown, Braking the cycle- mixing comedy with circus and trick cycling, Circus To Iraq- pure clown]
- Directing / facilitating semi-improvised, multiple character solo shows [“10 Ways To Die On Stage”, “The Middle Bit”, Ed Rapley. “Monster Magic”, Cirque Idyllic]
